Record Year for White-Tailed Eagles as Three Chicks Fledge
BBC
Since the start of a reintroduction programme in 2019, a total of six baby eagles have now fledged. All of the chicks are fitted with satellite tags so the project team can track their progress. The white-tailed eagle was Britain’s largest bird of prey before it was hunted to extinction in the south of England in the 18th Century.
