India has installed its first “Liquid Tree” — a water-filled structure packed with microalgae that absorb CO₂ and release oxygen through photosynthesis — functioning as a compact, even more efficient air-purifying alternative for dense urban areas where planting real trees is difficult. The harvested algae can also be used as plant fertilizer, adding a circular-economy dimension to the system.
