Puerto Rico creates new marine reserve to protect endangered species

After nearly 20 years of community efforts, Puerto Rico has approved a new marine protected area covering 77 square miles to preserve vital marine biodiversity, including more than 14 endangered species that live amongst the mangroves and seagrass beds.
