South Africa aiming to produce HIV prevention drug locally

South Africa collaborates with international partners to find a domestic producer for the long-acting HIV prevention drug lenacapavir, aiming to lower costs and increase access in lower- and middle-income countries. At present, the drug is primarily supplied via donor-supported programs.
