Switzerland trials solar panels between railway tracks for sustainable transport

A technology start-up in Switzerland was recently given approval to place solar panels on a stretch of railway tracks operated by transN.The solar panels can be used to power the trains themselves or to power the signs, stations and signals along the train’s path.
