New York City reaches 200,000 pothole repairs this year

New York City says transport crews have repaired 200,000 potholes since January 1 while continuing to fill about 3,000 a week. The city has also paved 757 lane miles this year across the five boroughs, a longer-term measure officials describe as the most effective way to reduce new potholes before winter.
