In Ogoniland, women trained by the Lokiaka Community Development Centre have planted 3m mangroves and reclaimed 190 hectares of swamp forest since 2018. The work is restoring native wetlands damaged by oil pollution, while giving local communities a direct role in managing land and livelihoods.
