Nest boxes aid Hong Kong’s endangered cockatoos

Hong Kong conservationists have installed 15 camera-equipped nest boxes for yellow-crested cockatoos, a critically endangered species with a stable local population of about 200. Four boxes are now occupied, offering scarce nesting space and data on urban breeding behavior.
