Conch-shaped device calms children before scary hospital visits

Designer Jiumo Wang created Oneiro, a conch-shaped device for children aged 4 to 13 with sleep apnea. Before a scheduled nasal endoscopy, kids blow into a mouthpiece and watch their breath transform into calming digital landscapes in real time, replacing waiting-room anxiety with a fascinating, interactive and calming experience.
