A wild jaguar cub is born in Argentina for the first time in 30 years

For the first time in at least 30 years, a wild jaguar has been born in Argentina’s Gran Chaco Forest. The cub, Bermejo, is the son of Nalá — a captive-born female released in 2024 by Fundación Rewilding Argentina — and a wild male, a world first for large felines.
