Burkina Faso dancers make rhythm accessible to deaf artists

In Bobo-Dioulasso, the Fientan Compagnie uses Vibra-Signe, a technique that translates rhythm through floor vibrations, facial cues and gestures. It has helped deaf and hard-of-hearing dancers perform internationally, including winning a gold medal at the 2023 Francophone Games.
