Frecciarossa tests advance Italy–Germany high-speed rail

Trial runs in Germany and Austria have begun for Frecciarossa trains planned to link Rome and Milan with Munich from summer 2027. The services, developed with Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB, would add cross-border high-speed options via Innsbruck, with more connections expected after the Brenner Base Tunnel opens.
