Sardinian restaurants test phone-free family dining

In Sardinia, 15 restaurants will ask families to put away phones during a one-month pilot led by the island’s children’s ombudsman. Staff will offer games and drawing materials designed with pediatricians to prompt conversation, testing whether public settings can help parents manage children’s screen use.
