Afghan women’s team makes international debut at FIFA Unites

The newly formed “Afghan Women United” took the field in Morocco on 27 October 2025 in the FIFA Unites: Women’s Series, their first match since 2021. Though the result was 6-1 to Chad, the moment marks a return to global competition and renewed opportunity for the players.
