Battery “bath” restores 95% power and cuts recycling costs

A Cornell University team has developed an electrochemical process that regenerates the electrodes of spent lithium-ion batteries, restoring up to 95% of their original power. The method could cut current recycling costs by 56% and avoid the harsher techniques used today.
