In a study of 40 healthy young adults, participants with stronger cardiorespiratory fitness showed lower anxiety, better emotional control and faster recovery after viewing disturbing images. The findings suggest a measurable link between exercise habits and stress resilience, but need larger replication before firm conclusions.
