Angélique Kidjo becomes first Black African with Walk of Fame star

Angélique Kidjo has become the first Black African honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Benin-born, five-time Grammy winner was recognised after a 40-year international career spanning 18 albums, marking a rare mainstream US tribute to an African musician’s global influence in music.
