School meals in CAR reach 250,000 children and local farmers

In the Central African Republic, WFP-backed school meals now reach more than 250,000 children in 335 schools. One village school reports enrolment rising from 475 to 857 pupils, while purchases from small local producers have increased by more than 500% in five years. Food needs remain high.
