Electric air taxi trials flights from JFK to Manhattan in under 10 minutes

Joby Aviation flew its electric, zero-emissions air taxi from New York’s JFK Airport to Lower Manhattan and Midtown in under 10 minutes — quieter than a helicopter and with no operating emissions. The 10-day demo is part of a pilot program, with commercial passenger flights planned for New York, Texas, and Florida in the second half of 2026.
